Mike was an incredible DJ for our wedding. He went above and beyond to ensure that our ceremony and reception were everything we dreamed of. Mike was in contact with us beforehand to discuss genres and song choices. He brought all of his own equipment and set up quickly in both our ceremony room and reception hall. Mike was accommodating to guests who requested songs, friendly to everyone, and a gentlemen to our wedding party. The music was one of the highlights of our entire day. He read the crowds energy perfectly. He played hits that appealed to the younger and older crowds. Mike is truly one of the nicest people we know, and is willing to do anything to make your day perfect. I highly recommend Mike as the perfect DJ for a wedding or event.

We first met him a year earlier at a friend’s wedding and were so excited to have him for ours — and he absolutely delivered. Despite having people of all ages, he managed to please everyone and keep the energy high all night. He even sent us a custom-edited version of our first dance song before the big day to make sure it was just right — such a thoughtful touch.

We received so many compliments about how amazing our DJ was, and the dance floor was packed for five hours straight. That was our number one goal, and Mike nailed it. We can’t recommend him enough!

He knows how to keep the dance floor going and music selection is great! Super easy to work with and very affordable! Made for a fantastic wedding night!

We booked DJ Mike for our wedding reception. Making a playlist and choosing music for a party is something that causes me a lot of stress, but with one phone call Mike took all of that stress away and made us feel comfortable. He was so easy to deal with, super kind, and he absolutely nailed the music at our wedding. He worked seamlessly with our MC during dinner and speeches and the whole evening went off without a hitch. You know what’s the worst? When you attend a beautiful wedding, everything is perfect, everyone is anticipating the best dance party at the end of the night and then the Dj starts and just completely ruins the vibe, no one dances, people leave early. That is NOT Mike Tomas. There is nothing worse than spending tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding that nobody dances at because the DJ plays the same boring wedding songs all night long. By hiring Mike, you make sure that will never happen. Mike will give you the dance party of your dreams with his creative remixes to any genre. He knows how to read a room and absolutely KILL IT. With Mike Tomas, it doesn’t matter if people make a bad song request, he will turn any song into an absolute rager. We still have people talking about our wedding 3 years later and how they haven’t ever danced that hard. We have had multiple friends book him after our wedding and we are always sooo excited to go to those weddings knowing our feet are going to be raw the next day from dancing all night long.

To summarize, DJ Mike Tomas is the best DJ you could ever hire, especially for your wedding. There is no DJ that is better in Alberta, I would say even Canada. Mike is the BEST.

We first heard Mike play at our friend’s wedding last year and knew we had to have him for our own! We ended up booking with Mike for our wedding and he beat every expectation we had! Mike was very good at communication during the planning process and kept the dance floor going all night long! The one thing I admired about Mike’s work was that he knew how to read a room, if there were parents/grandparents dancing he would play songs from their generation that they would know but still keeping the popular songs playing so the younger crowd was still dancing! Since our wedding we have had 2 friends book with Mike for their weddings next year and we can’t wait to be on the dance floor again listening to his music!
